A chess game reflects the age old struggles of life. You gain an edge here, you lose it over there. Once a mistake is made you have to live with it and make the best of it you can. It is dramatic, two minds struggling to gain an edge somewhere, anywhere. Chess is a powerful living drama. A struggle between two antagonsits. Wonderful to win. Bitter to lose. A knight could give his side unending support only to be sacrificed later on in a pivitol part of the game. Sometimes a lowly pawn becomes a queen and determines the outcome of a game.
